Yesterday VMware announced that PowerCLI has been updated to 6.5.3. In this release some issues have been address and there are several new features, including:

  • New module for NSX-T
  • A “Create” method that can be used with the Get-Service cmdlets

Now that Power CLI is a PowerShell module available from the PowerShell Gallery it’s super easy to update the module:

Update-Module VMware.PowerCLI

Make sure you open an elevated Powershell prompt.
